Step 4: Receive Your eWIC Card and Set Up Healthy Together
If eligible, your eWIC card will be loaded with your first month's food benefits the same day. Download the Healthy Together app to manage your benefits, scan products in-store, message WIC staff, view upcoming appointments, and access Farm Direct Program farmers' market benefits. If you do not have a smartphone, access the same features at app.healthytogether.co in any web browser.
Recertification in Montana
WIC certifications are not permanent โ they expire and must be renewed on a schedule based on participant category:
- Pregnant women: certified through six months postpartum; breastfeeding women are eligible through the infant's first birthday
- Postpartum women (not breastfeeding): eligible for up to six months after pregnancy ends
- Infants: certified at enrollment, with a mid-certification appointment around six months of age, and a transition appointment approaching the first birthday
- Children ages 1โ4: certified every six months until their fifth birthday
